Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Brandon Concrete Company handles the information you give us or that our website collects while you use it. We're a concrete contractor based in Brandon, MS, and this policy applies to our website, starting with the home page, and to the calls, emails and form requests that come to us through it.
We keep it short and plain on purpose, so you know what happens to your information before you ask us for a quote. You can read more about who we are on our About page.
What information we collect
We collect the information you choose to send us. When you fill out our quote or contact form, call us or email us, that usually includes your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property where the work would be done, and what you tell us about the job, such as a driveway, patio or slab you want poured or repaired. If you send photos of the area, we keep those with your request.
Our website also collects some information automatically when you visit. That can include the type of device and browser you're using, the pages you looked at, how long you stayed, the site that sent you here and a general location based on your internet connection. This information doesn't tell us your name unless you give it to us.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to answer your request, set up a visit to look at the job, prepare your quote, schedule and do the work, and follow up after it's done. We may also use it to keep records of the work we've done at your property, which helps if you call us later about the same slab.
We use the information collected automatically to see how people use the site, fix pages that aren't working and make the site easier to use. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it to send you marketing from other companies.
Cookies and website analytics
Cookies are small files your browser stores so a website can remember your visit. Our site may use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working properly and to count visits and page views through an analytics service.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work for reading and contacting us, though some features may not remember your choices.
Who we share information with
We share your information only as far as we need to run the business and do your job. Our contact form is run through an outside form service, so what you type into it is stored by that provider and sent on to us. Our website host, analytics provider and email and phone services may also handle your information on our behalf.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety or someone else's, or if the business is ever sold or merged, in which case the new owner would be bound to handle it in line with this policy.
How long we keep your information
We keep the details of a quote request for as long as we need them to answer it and follow up. If we do work for you, we keep customer and job records for as long as we need them for the job, for any follow-up or warranty questions, and for our tax and business records.
When we no longer need the information, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you. Analytics data is kept according to the settings of the analytics service we use.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll do that unless we have to keep certain records for legal or business reasons, and if so we'll tell you which ones and why.
You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Depending on the state you live in, you may have other privacy rights under your state's law, and we'll honor those requests as the law requires.
How we protect your information
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, such as limiting who on our team can see it and using reputable services to store it. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don't send us sensitive information like bank account or card numbers through the form or by email.
Children's privacy
Our website is meant for adults arranging work on a home or property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or the services we use change. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page, and it applies from the time it's posted.
How to raise a privacy question or concern
If you have a question about this policy, want to make one of the requests above, or think we've mishandled your information, call us at (601) 591-9020 or reach us through our Contact page. Tell us what your concern is and how to reach you, and we'll look into it and get back to you.
