Terms and Conditions

Brandon Concrete Company, brandonconcretecompany.com, hello@brandonconcretecompany.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Brandon Concrete Company website and any work you hire us to do. When you browse our website, call us, send our contact form or accept an estimate, you agree to them.

If you've signed a written estimate or agreement with us for a specific job, that document controls wherever it differs from this page. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site, and ask us any questions before you book.

What we do

Brandon Concrete Company is a concrete contractor in Brandon, MS. We build and repair driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, garage floors, pool decks, slabs, footings, foundations, retaining walls and other flatwork, which is the trade's word for flat poured surfaces. We also do stamped and decorative concrete, concrete cutting and foundation raising.

The service pages on this site describe our work in general terms so you know what to expect. Your job is defined by your written estimate, not by a web page. You can read more about who we are on our About page.

Estimates and pricing

We give free quotes on site, with no pressure to book. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure on the day we visit, including the size of the area, removal of any old concrete, the base work, the finish you pick and how easy it is to reach the spot.

Some conditions stay hidden until the old slab is out. Soft or wet subgrade, which is the ground the slab sits on, buried debris and roots can all mean extra work. If we find something that changes the price, we'll stop, show you and get your approval before we do the added work.

An estimate is good for the period it states. After that, material costs may have changed, so we may need to update it before we schedule.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We set a pour date with you once you accept the estimate. Concrete depends on the weather, so we may move a pour for rain, cold or extreme heat when pouring would hurt the finished slab, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.

New concrete needs time to cure, which is the wait while it hardens and gains strength before it's used. We'll tell you when it's safe to walk and drive on, and damage from using it sooner isn't covered.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us as early as you can. If we've already ordered concrete or materials for your job or set forms, you may owe what we've spent, as your written agreement states.

Payment

Your estimate or agreement states any deposit, when payments are due and which payment methods we take. Final payment is due when the work in that agreement is done, unless the agreement says otherwise.

If a balance goes unpaid, we may pause further work and use the remedies Mississippi law allows to collect it. If you have a concern about the bill, call us before the due date and we'll go over it with you.

Your part of the job

We need clear access to the work area and room for trucks and equipment. Please tell us about anything buried that we can't see, such as sprinkler lines, septic parts, drain pipes or private wiring, so we can work around it.

You're responsible for knowing your property lines and any rules your neighborhood or homeowners association sets. You're also responsible for keeping people, pets and vehicles off fresh concrete until we say it's ready.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

We stand behind our work, and satisfaction is guaranteed. If something isn't right, call us and we'll come look at it and talk through how to make it right.

Concrete can still develop small hairline cracks as it dries and moves with the ground, even when the base is packed and the control joints are cut. Those joints are grooves we cut so cracks form along a line we chose. Hairline cracks that don't affect how the slab works are normal and aren't a defect.

Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from use before the concrete has cured, from overloading the slab, from deicing salts or chemicals, from changes to drainage or grading by others, from tree roots, or from ground movement and weather beyond our control. Color and texture can vary from samples and from one pour to the next. Apart from what this page and your written agreement state, we make no other warranties, express or implied, to the extent the law allows.

Limits on our liability

To the extent Mississippi law allows, our total liability for any claim tied to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of your property, lost income or delays caused by weather, suppliers or events outside our control.

Nothing on this page limits any right you have that the law doesn't allow a business to limit.

Using this website

The information on this site is general and meant to help you understand concrete work. It isn't engineering, legal or permit advice for your property, and your city or county decides what a job needs.

We try to keep the site accurate, but it may have errors or out-of-date details. The text, photos and design belong to Brandon Concrete Company, so please don't copy them for commercial use without our permission.

If we disagree

If you have a problem with our work or a bill, contact us first and give us a fair chance to fix it, because most issues get settled with a phone call and a visit to the site. We'll work in good faith to reach an answer with you.

If we can't settle it that way, either of us may take the matter to a court with jurisdiction over Brandon, Mississippi.

Mississippi law applies

These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will post the new version on this page. Changes apply from the day we post them, but they don't change a written agreement you've already signed with us.
